How about getting individual times up here? If you’re worried about privacy, assign each child a number (ID) that only they and their family know. and publish times against each ID.

The plan is to put times in the Members Only section. I’ve asked the management for ‘em…

Can anyone recommend any autobiographies / biographies of swimmers? My daughter is really interested but we can’t find any!

Do you mean of olympic type swimmers?

There don’t seem to be any. I guess it’s because they’d be quite boring books. I can write one now: “Got up at 4am; swam for 3 hours; had breakfast; trained in the gym; swam for 3 hours; had lunch; slept; went for a run; had tea; swam for 2 hours; went to bed”. Repeat this diary entry each day, with slight variations, for 15 years. There! An instant swimmer’s biography!

Alternatively, have a look at these lists:

Thank you for the above lists – really helpful. It’s easy when you know where to look!
