If you are dropping your child off at swimming and then leaving the premises, or if someone else is responsible for picking up your child, please ensure your child has an emergency contact number with them. This is in case we have to finish swimming early, for reasons beyond our control, and your child then needs collecting before the end of their session.

If a problem does arise, and you are unable to collect your child earlier, then please ensure your child understands NOT to leave the premises and to wait either in reception or in the cafe area – not only is it safer during these dark winter evenings, but warmer for your child too!

Please note we are not legally responsible for your child once their session has finished, although we would obviously never leave a child alone on the premises.

The Committee Ringwood Seals Swimming Club

After four years as Treasurer for the Seals I am standing down at the next AGM.

It would be good for the Club to have some new blood and fresh ideas and you don’t have to be Carol Vorderman! If you have a computer we have an easy to use accounts package which does all the hard work so we’re not asking for lots of your time – just a couple of hours a month.

The presentation evening is to take place on FRIDAY 3rd FEBRUARY 2012 in the Studio (upstairs – through double doors from cafe area).
There are quite a few awards to present so please ensure you turn up promptly, as per times below:

8 years and under to arrive at 7pm – ready to line up for their awards!
2nd & 3rd session swimmers to arrive at 8.30pm.

It is hoped that ALL members, who took part in the Home Championships, will turn up to support this event. You never know – you could be up for one of the special awards!!!
PLEASE NOTE, THERE WILL BE NO SWIMMING SESSIONS ON THIS DATE.

This year we have decided not to have a disco on the awards night, but instead to organise a social event when the weather gets a bit warmer, so watch out for further news!

It is expected that all committee members will be available to help from 6.45pm. Any other offers of help will be greatly received.
