A big welcome to Lisa who has taken on the job of running the Seals Swim Shop. The shop is open at various times during training and sells – at cost – official Seals swimming costumes, hats, bags, hoodies and shirts, as well as goggles and other swimwear.
The Centre has informed us that: “we are not entering Seals parents car registrations onto the Parking Eye system due to the volume and inconsistency that would be involved.” Instead, the centre wants us to enter our car registrations at the terminals placed at reception every time we visit the site. It has provided this FAQ to explain the system.
Many people have been receiving parking notices despite having provided car registration details. There have also been times, as on Tuesday night, when the registration terminals were not working. If you think you have been unfairly issued with a parking notice and wish to contest it, read this article from MoneySavingExpert.

Please make sure that your Direct Debits are set up for pre-approval – some of you have disabled them and we cannot access them to set them up again. We will be doing a part month for April and a full payment from 4th May to continue regularly.

Following the recent Government announcement of a second national lockdown, Ringwood Health and Leisure Centre closed on the evening of Wednesday 4 November. All Seals training sessions will therefore stop until further notice. We have suspended the monthly fee collections until we can return. Please do not cancel your direct debit arrangements; no payments will be taken until we resume swimming.
