FINISH AT 8.00PM*

(* Any 10 year olds who competed in the 10-11 years Opens – the prize giving for these races will be at the beginning of the next presentation, so please stay for this)

11+ YEAR OLDS AND PARENTS

ARRIVE AT 8.00PM FOR BUFFET FOLLOWED BY PRESENTATION

All children and parents welcome, regardless of whether you think you have won an Award.  Please come and enjoy a social evening …. perhaps you have won one of our Special Awards.

 

AWARDS PHOTOGRAPHY

There will be no official photography during the Presentation Evening.  However, the following Friday, 30th January, Richard Lines will take group photos between Seals sessions so please bring your trophies along.

Prints will be available to purchase from Richard Lines.  If you would like any individual shots taken, please advise Karen Bradfield via email (karenbradfield@hotmail.co.uk) who can then give a list to Richard.

The group images will also be uploaded onto the Ringwood Seals website.  If any parent does not wish their child to appear on the website, please advise Anne Nugent.

Training in 2015

After the inflatables session on Friday 19th December, there will be no swimming until Tuesday January 6th.

For your diaries, the full programme of pool bookings by the Club for 2015 is as follows:

  • January 6th – 31st March

Every Tuesday from 6th January (unless listed below) 6.00 – 9.30 p.m.
Every Friday from January 9th (unless listed below) 6.30 -10.00 p.m.
Every Sunday from January 11th (unless listed below) 8.30 – 10.00 a.m.

Home Championships 2014

ALL SWIMMERS EXPECTED TO TAKE PART

CUPS FOR FIRST PLACE      MEDALS FOR 1/2/3 PLACES          RIBBONS FOR 4/5

Age groups: 7 & under, 8 & under, 10  & under, 12  & under,14  & under, 16 & under, Senior. Swimmer’s age is defined by age on first day of Home Championships.

All swimmers age 8 and under who take part will be presented with a Medal at presentation night.

Tuesday 11th November

Open finals of Backstroke and Breaststroke

Some swimmers (mainly new swimmers and under 8 years) will not be entered into breaststroke, butterfly and IM because they are not ready to do these strokes. Carole will speak to you if this is what we decide or you can go and speak to her.

About the OPENS: These events are for the top 5 swimmers at each age. Open events are 50m races and use crossover age ranges: 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, 14+, giving the better swimmers an opportunity to race against a different age group.
